Blessed Francisco and Jacinta Marto and the vision at Fatima |
Head over here to see an activity page for Ash Wednesday.
The coloring page of the vision at Fatima includes 3 children, but only two are named because I ddint' want to make things more complicated for the children. But, here is the explanation if they ask about the third child. Blessed Francisco and Jacinta Marto were small children (ages 9 and 7) when they saw a vision of the Blessed Mary at Fatima. They were with their cousin Lucia dos Santos who also saw the visions and later joined a convent as a Discalced Carmelite. Blessed Francisco and Jacinta both passed away as children, but Lucia lived to be 97 and only passed away in 2005.

I'm really looking forward to perusing this site, and finding things to use with my children at home! What a wonderful resource!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for linking up to Saints and Scripture Sundays!
I hope your kids enjoy the bulletins!
DeleteYour bulletins are great for the littlest learners! Would you consider including the feast day of the saint that's in each bulletin? It would save me Googling it, as we try to focus on the saint ON their actual feast day. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'll try to add the day on the next ones that I make. Thanks for the suggestion!
