September 2 Saint Gregory the Great (Feast Day: September 3) Mark 7:1-8, 14-15, 21-23  The Pharisees question Jesus.
September 9 Saint John Chrysostom (Feast Day: September 13) Mark 7:31-37 Jesus heals a deaf man.
September 16 Saint Padre Pio (Feast Day: September 23) Mark 8:27-35  Peter tells Jesus that, "You are the Christ."
September 23   Saint Vincent de Paul (Feast Day: September 27)   Mark 9:30-37: Disciples asking who is the best.
September 30   Archangels (Feast Day: September 29)   Mark 9:38-43, 45, 47-48:  Removing anything that causes you to sin.

**This month, the quote on the front page of the bulletin is the Psalm response so that can be practiced and explained before Mass.  Hopefully this will encourage my daughter to participate more thoughout Mass.  Let me know if it works for you!
