CKB 2/12/12 Saint Bernadette

Welcome to the new website for Catholic Kids Bulletins! I decided it was time for the name of the blog to match the current purpose.

For those of you who are signed up for email bulletins, you can sign up for this site on the right, or if you know how I can automatically switch that, I'd be glad to make the switch...

There is a new button on the right (a MUCH cuter button than the previous). I would LOVE if you would add my button to your site if you have one. Email me if you'd like me to link to you as well--there is plenty of space for Catholic buttons on this page!

Now--on to business.
This week's CKB highlights Saint Bernadette of Lourdes and more miracles from Jesus!

There are a lot of Saint Bernadette stories that I didn't include; particularly that she prayed the rosary during some of the visits. This would a great chance to talk about the rosary with your child.

The OT and the Gospel this week have a very clear connection. The OT discusses laws given to Moses and Aaron regarding leprosy. In the Gospel, Jesus refers to those laws. I didn't include that for the little kids, but I'm sure older kids would love to listen for the connection.
